No matter what your needs, you can expect the Meadowmont Dentistry team to deliver the very best in cosmetic dentistry while treating you like family. Here’s a little more about our restorative techniques and capabilities.
Dental Bonding & Filling
Bonding is the process of using tooth-colored materials to repair chips, discoloration, or minor spacing issues in teeth. We use composite resins and our artistic eye to make teeth look whole again, often in a single office visit. Bonding will not last as long as dental veneers, but the technique is well-suited for use as a quick fix before a more permanent restoration.
Similarly, dental fillings are most often used to fill the holes left behind when we remove cavities and areas tooth decay. These prevent decay from spreading further while protecting the sensitive inner tissues of the teeth. We have extensive experience with a variety of tooth filler materials, including metals and tooth-colored fillings, so we can handle any level of need.
Crowns & Bridgework
A dental crown is a custom-made “cap” that fits over a damaged, decayed, or otherwise unattractive tooth. While dental veneers only cover a tooth’s front surface, crowns are essentially an artificial replacement tooth anchored to the existing tooth structure. Using the latest materials and techniques, we create custom crowns that are almost indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. Using at least three crowns, we span the space of the missing tooth by placing crowns over the healthy teeth on either side of the gap to support an unanchored crown. Our team excels in producing custom bridgework that’s almost impossible to tell apart from the real teeth next to it.
Custom Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are a thin covering that cover over the natural surface of the front of the tooth. They’re most often used to restore the color, size, shape, alignment, or spacing of a patient’s teeth. The Meadowmont Dentistry team specializes in custom porcelain veneers that will give you an entirely new smile. With the latest in dental porcelain technology, we’ll create beautiful new teeth surfaces that look like natural tooth enamel, resistant to stains, and as tough as real teeth.
Partial & Full Dentures
For patients who are missing all or large sections of their teeth, partial or full dentures are a proven option. We have the skills and technology needed to create custom-fitted dentures that look natural, restore function, and support proper facial contours.
